Recently friend of mine asked to take a look at his old type (incandescent bulb) Halcyon Scout. Well, I did, results seems to be promising. It still provides narrow beam, but emits much more light and hot spot it a bit wider what is literally much healthier for your mental condition when diving in poor visibility and dark environments.
